Ventajas
All of the managers I've met are nice and will help you however they can, whether that be accommodating odd schedule requirements..or...yeah that's about all they can do.
Desventajas
Branch is understaffed; anyone taking a day off, planned or otherwise throws a spanner in a machine that was barely operating already. Terrible for morale. You get the motivation to tackle a project, work on it for half a day, and then it falls to the wayside for one of a hundred different reasons. All of those reasons come down to not having enough staff. We're on a site with another branch, which sounds like it would enable teamwork, but in reality it just allows a "skeleton crew" to be even less people, saving Reece money. You think you finally have a day to get some stuff organised, but the other branch had a callout, so now you're answering their phone for them, hunting down the manager of that branch to relay messages, unloading 2 branches worth of courier trucks, yay. The branch managers have little to no ability to make decisions/changes that are actually helpful or impactful. Everyone is a delivery driver or a sales rep/BDM. The manager can't help you with day to day branch stuff because they're inundated with new quotes to write up, quotes that need to be followed up on, supplier issues to fix regarding quotes that have been won.
