Ventajas
1. Learning and Exposure Great place to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of responsibilities (under-staffed). The pace varies by team but generally offers good opportunities to learn and grow. 2. Supportive Colleagues Majority of colleagues are hardworking, collaborative, and genuinely trying to get things done. Teams sometimes have to navigate internal politics, but most people try their best within those constraints.
Desventajas
1. Compensation May Not Be Competitive IMO, the compensation package feels average compared to similar roles in the tech industry. Different parts of the company seem to position the business differently (Razer as a tech vs. hardware company), which can create mixed expectations during compensation discussions. 2, Poor Benefits and Work Arrangements Mandatory year-end shutdown means 4 leave days are pre-allocated, reducing the number of days employees control from 16 to 12. Benefits overall feel limited compared to companies of similar size. For a company this size, the benefits feel minimal. There is also mandated in-office work, even for roles that could be performed remotely. 3. AI Gaming Strategy Feels Unclear Major push toward AI Gaming, but day-to-day execution often feels disconnected from that vision. AI Gaming initiatives don’t evolve beyond early prototypes (demo ware). It feels like there is a lack of technical leadership in AI Team, the technical expertise just isn't there. See past reviews for similar experiences. Dissenting opinions aren’t encouraged; be aligned or you will likely get bullied out of the company.
