Ventajas
Regarding their US sales team, there is job stability as long as you stay under the radar. Don't be at the bottom for obvious reasons, but don't be on top either of you'll be a target. Having low pay also keeps you in the clear.
Desventajas
There is virtually zero chance of promotion within the company. In the past 10 years only two people have been promoted from rep to management, and neither was promoted based on performance. The pay is low compared to other companies, and the bonus structure is terrible. Quarterly bonuses of less than $200 are common. To top it all off, expressing any frustration regarding the company will guarantee you'll be replaced within a year. I titled this with "until you find something else" because having Ranbaxy on your resume can be a hindrance on future interviews.
