Work from home for some. Hybrid for most. Generous PTO. Many paid holidays. Extra paid winter break. It’s a paying job. Steady income. Reliable paycheck. That’s mostly it.
Desventajas
Toxic senior leadership (director, VP, presidents). No support for teams. Senior leadership absent and indifferent. Middle management clearly overwhelmed and overworked. Frontline teams drowning but keeping the company alive, doing their best. Constant layoffs, feels random but usually higher salaries in each team. Good talent cut, low performers stay. Culture gets evidently worse every round. Leadership feels disconnected, doesn’t listen, doesn’t care. Backstabbing everywhere, trust is low. Hard to get fired for poor work, very easy to coast. Problematic, low effort employees stay maybe because of lower salaries. Strong performers laid off or stuck in roles below skill level, picking up extra work to cover for people who don’t care or won’t try. Company doesn’t hold low performers accountable and protects them over loyal, high-performing employees. Morale keeps dropping. Another round of layoffs just happened, more expected after reviews. Everyone stressed, overworked, checked out, and tired. Senior leadership is “proud” of the work and completely oblivious to what most employees face. They don’t care as long as their paychecks keep coming.
