Ventajas
In this mess with a lot of decent people, though the good ones don’t ever stay for long.
Desventajas
Organization has recently been going through a growth spurt in revenue that has led to a LOT of unrecognized pain experienced by employees. A big chunk of the org has resigned in the last few months, including staff RIF has unfairly heavily relied on to get the job done. Pay and benefits have not kept up with inflation or competitors which is a nail in the coffin when staff are already miserable day to day. RIF seems to be obsessed with hoarding as much money as possible and sometimes you have no idea what the mission even is anymore. For an organization with such a stated REI focus it’s insane how few employees of color there are. But we’ve all heard management’s casual comments and know it’s not by accident.
