None. Big company bought out an agency. So you work agency hours with corporate bureaucracy- there is literally nothing good about it.

I have never in my career seen such unethical and blatant mismanagement of a company. Examples: Laying off dev and replacing with offshore but forcing employees to hide it from clients who expressed they did not want offshore dev. Employees demeaned and verbally abused by their leadership. Leadership unable to push back on clients and dumping work on their teams- and blaming teams when commitments couldn't be kept. Teams with absolutely zero respect for their leaders. It was truly a place of poison for employees and their clients alike. The worst part of all is that there is no one to learn from. Scratch that - Since the acquisition I learned what NOT to do and how NOT to run a business in design and software dev.

There are no pros, this company is a scam.

RDIA hired me as a UX/UI Designer. I had to move across the country from California to Ohio for this job, and 6 days before my start date, they revoked my offer with no explanation other than "it had nothing to do with me". I had to sacrifice moving expenses, lost wages during weeks where I didn't have another job, had already quit my old job, lost my healthcare benefits (medical, dental and vision), and had to sign a non-compete agreement that I wouldn't work for any other company or interview with any other company (I turned down other offers for this job). This has highly impacted my life and my family's life, with absolutely no sympathy from RDI or RDIA. This company is following unethical business practices, and I advise anyone who has any respect for themselves, to stay as far away from this company as possible. ESPECIALLY other DAAP alumni. If you are a designer with any sort of talent, this should be the last company you ever consider working for.
