Ventajas

I worked in the corporate office for RAR for 2 years. I see some bad reviews and I'm assuming they are related to some individual hotel properties operating under RAR management, as I've never had a bad experience in the office! I had plenty of opportunities to grow, promotions, good compensation and enjoyed my co-workers. Since we were always getting new clients, the work was never dull.

Desventajas

Could use stronger mid-tier management. I learned a lot from the CEO and other executives in the company, but it was fairly flat after that.

Thank you for your comments. With our merger/acquisition agreement with Hostmark Hospitality Group, many concerns are alleviated. We will always strive to be the best

Management friendly, the owner is super personable and really cares about his staff

Desventajas

Not much really, I guess there could be more training and development for internal staff

Ventajas

- Not a lot of micromanaging - Relaxed and engaged leadership with a positive outlook - Respectful of personal time, as much as is possible for working in hotels - The CEO gets it, is knowledgeable about the industry and is realistic - Not a lot of turnover - NICE hotels with happy guests and upbeat environments to work in - Decent bonus structure for salaried managers

Desventajas

- No 401k - Health insurance coverage is so-so (as good as it can be for a smaller business) - Not many opportunities for advancement or lateral movement because the company downsized

Thanks for the input. While we haven't had many events since our 30th anniversary party on 2-20-20, agree we need to have events going forward. Starting a matching funds 401K is desirable but best we can do today is hook you up with a 401K that we just started--no match yet. Contact me anytime. Bob Rauch, CEO
