Ventajas
They are many. There is a very relaxed atmosphere and a good level of mutual respect among the staff. I've seen the company change/grow its personnel significantly but the atmosphere and culture has remained the same and we continue to employ high quality, good people to work with. Though we have significantly expanded there is still scope for new starters to entirely define their area of the business. There's way more growth to come, the industry is really kicking on now. At our size we are able to offer fairly tailored opportunities within the job roles we recruit for. We have product managers who want to start their own businesses who are given mentoring on how to do so. We have people in operational roles being trained to run complex database queries to get them towards the IT career they want long term. POD Point does a decent job of trying to help you move forward with the company. Finally the senior management is both highly competent and down to earth. If you have concerns you can express them directly to the CEO and get an immediate response.
Desventajas
This is a new industry, ancillary to the development of the Electric Vehicle market and it can be volatile. The industry is growing so there are more ups, but still some downs and it can be challenging, particularly if, like me, you feel personally involved in the business' fortunes. There are more generous salaries and more stable roles out there. But few more rewarding.
