Ventajas
In the beginning it was simply great. A client focused company that cared and took care of staff. People tended to stay long-term due to the family atmosphere and the company prospered each and every year. Louis Hernandez Jr. was a great CEO in the beginning.
Desventajas
After the Carlyle Group bought the publicly traded company and took it back private the company was doomed as a place to work. Many many jobs were transferred offshore. Company management began to renege on agreements with employees and created at atmosphere of distrust and constant turmoil. They have cut employment to unsustainable levels and the products have suffered severely. Carlyle was the worst thing that ever happened to Open Solutions. As stated in the pro section, Louis Hernandez Jr. was a great CEO. Until Carlyle came along and tied his hands so to speak.
