Ventajas

Coworkers were very friendly and worked together well. The most members are wonderful to be around. Its a great feeling building personal relationships with them and helping then reach their fitness goals

Desventajas

FINANCIAL ISSUES. There have been many issues with paying employees especially within the past 6 months (tenured employees weren't surprised when there were issues - RED FLAG). Checks bouncing, personal trainers receiving over half of their check amounts a week later, having to wait to deposit checks because the company's account "experienced fraud", etc. etc. O2 pools all of their money to the clubs they're building then don't have enough left over in their accounts to pay employees on time or care for existing locations. This shouldn't be an issue. High turnover is common in this industry but many loyal employees are jumping ship because this company isn't stable. No financial security.

Ventajas

Great atmosphere, supportive management, and ability to grow professionally.

Desventajas

Not many downsides. The only reason I left was because I was moving with my partner - I was very sad to leave.

Ventajas

Free gym membership Flexible schedule (for the most part)

Desventajas

The pay is extremely low especially after taking away salary. I have found myself in a situation where I had to choose between seeing a doctor or being able to afford groceries that week. They really should be giving trainers a base salary plus commission. The standard of living is way too high to survive on a low commission rate. The benefits were also terrible. You don't make enough to have a 401K so don't get your hopes up for that. The insurance was bad and I only received 10 days of PTO per year that I couldn't take because I was afraid to lose the money I would have made off of commission (which was more than I would have received if I had used my PTO). They don't seem to care about the well-being of their employees. Equipment breaks often and does not get fixed quickly. The AC has been out in my gym for 2 months and they seem to be twiddling their thumbs. Members complain daily about it.
