Ventajas
Working at MRC gives the opportunity to do interesting work at a non-profit with a real sense of purpose. It's fully remote, with team face-to-face time happening at the events MRC runs (depending on your role) and at an annual staff retreat - so staff have great flexibility while still retaining a good team culture. It's faced-paced during busy periods and we cram in a lot of activity, but the company strongly encourages everyone to take time off, allows people to manage their own days to fit work around personal commitments, and has an extra Christmas/holidays shut-down for the whole company that gave an additional 6 days off on top of the public holidays. Great leadership who are real experts in the industry and care about their staff. There are regular internal promotions, good benefits, pension contributions, and a generous annual bonus. All in all, it's a great place to work and I really enjoy being part of an organisation that is truly valued by the industry at large.
Desventajas
The company experiences some of the typical growing pains of smaller companies in the process of expanding into new geos and adding new initiatives. As a non-profit, budgets can be tight.
