Just a note, many of the MBitions' decisions are highly influenced by mother company, Mercedes-Benz R&D, so to be considered partially a feedback to Mercedes-Benz R&D as well. - Career Development Career progression lacks a structured and individualized framework, leaving employees without clear trajectory. I for one had to find new teams and roles to apply for rather than my lead to suggest those. - Reactive Strategy to Industry and Technology Shifts A predominantly reactive rather than proactive stance toward market disruption. The structural challenges posed by the rise of electric vehicles or commoditization of IVI software solutions, were foreseeable trends which were neglected. - Workforce Planning & Budget Discipline Growth was inorganic and without sufficient alignment to technology trends and end-customer value-propositions, resulting in teams that are oversized relative to operational needs and budgetary constraints. - Leadership Readiness & Skill Gaps in Management A significant portion of leadership roles have been filled through internal technical promotion without ensuring the necessary competencies in people management, budget oversight, and organizational leadership. - Employee Feedback & Management Accountability Concerns raised by employees regarding management practices and organizational shortcomings have not been sufficiently acknowledged or acted upon. - Financial Transparency: Many financial struggles and budget discussion into engineering levels creating an environment of anxiety and diminished motivation among engineering teams.
