Ventajas
The "golden handcuff" benefits package is amazing. Senior management even jokes that the benefits are what keep people around (not the pay, work environment or culture). The annual bonus and profit sharing are nice but totally subjective (not split evenly - management is allowed to play favorites). A Monday through Friday schedule is nice but doesn't apply to all positions. Amazing promotion potential for female employees especially if you know someone already in management but not so much on the male side of things.
Desventajas
The company does well by doing good is a shameful philosophy because they don't live by it - it's just a ploy to look good in the community but as with most companies that look good from the outside, they don't look as good from the inside looking out. There are lower end non management salaried positions advertised as 37.5 hour Monday through Friday position but can be up to 7 days and 80 hours during project releases with no comp time for going over by 42.5 hours. Be careful not to appear too eager or too intelligent as it could be your downfall - just be a yes person but don't go above and beyond unless your manager can take credit for your work. Don't expect to ask your manager for help with your work because odds are not in your favor that they can do the work you're doing as they are in place to watch your production numbers not know what you're doing or how to do it.
