Ventajas
This was my first job out of university. We were given three weeks of pretty intensive training, with director-level involvement throughout. It was a lot to take in at first, but gave me a good grounding in the product offerings and basics to the pharma industry. I started working on real projects quickly, with supervision from principal and senior consultants and directors. I was presenting work to clients within six months, which was a bit nerve-wracking at first, but I was given plenty of opportunity to practice presenting with the project team and also with HR. The learning curve is very steep, and I feel like I have gained a huge amount of knowledge and skills in the pharma industry and consulting in general.
Desventajas
It is a small-ish company with tight-knit teams, so if you are looking for a job where you can slack off or be a trouble-maker, you will be found out quickly! If you are good, you will 100% be recognised and given responsibility quickly.
