Ventajas
I have worked for Informa for 6 months. Informa Connect is made up of lots of different divisions and each one is its own operation. So your experience really depends on the division you are part of. We're all under the same brand but in reality each division is like its own business. They're the colleagues you work with all the time and it's your boss in that division that matter. However, there are HR policies that go across the whole company, various benefits such as private health insurance, gym refund, share buying scheme etc... You can also get in touch with HR, which is for the whole company, for certain issues or questions you may have. Informa provide a lot of virtual training and guidance, if you choose to take advantage of it. The company is somewhat Byzantine in how big it is and it has a lack of hierarchy, which can make figuring out how the wider company works somewhat difficult. But once you're in Infoma, lots of people tend to stay. You can find internal job opportunities across the company beyond your division.
Desventajas
Large company so can be a bit difficult to navigate. Overall pay to start could be a bit higher but then they do hire a lot of people (they're a very large conference business) so I guess there's a limit to how much they could afford to pay every new starter.
