Ventajas

Conocí a algunas personas excelentes, pero no se quedaron mucho tiempo porque fueron degradados o fueron despedidos por decir lo que pensaban.

La empresa está contratando repetidamente para puestos que no son necesarios, lo que resulta en despidos y descensos de categoría para los empleados actuales, sin tener en cuenta el impacto en su bienestar. Hello, Thanks for your review. We know the recent restructuring impacted the roles and lives of some of our employees, and we understand that this can lead to people feeling frustrated and saddened by these changes. We want to support anyone feeling this way, so we encourage you to reach out to make use of our Employee Assistance Program and coaching services. We disagree that we solicit five-star ratings. We offer every employee the opportunity to post honest ratings, and we are pleased to see that so many Immutables love our culture. In response to your comments in relation to giving feedback, as you would know, one of our values is ‘We lovingly speak our mind’. Feedback is an important part of our culture. We ensure that there are multiple channels for every Immutable to communicate with and give feedback to colleagues, their manager, the exec team and founders. Hopefully, as you experienced during your tenure, there are office hours for all execs, there are regular town halls and AMA’s as well as multiple employee engagement surveys and listening cycles per year. In saying this, not all feedback can be taken on as leaders need to make tough decisions with trade-offs. We also disagree that employees have been ‘demoted.’ Whilst roles evolve and change with the company as we grow, we are focussed on ensuring each Immutable feels like they are growing during their tenure with us. We are investing a lot into our career development programs in 2023. In relation to your comments about our funding and hiring, we have been open about our strong financial position and our hiring throughout the re-organisation as these decisions were not related to funding issues but were made as a result of strategic changes happening in the Company. Every role we hire is needed. Change is part of the journey for fast-growing companies. Really lovely people. Great work life balance, and interesting work.

In the crypto space, so reliant on the ups and downs of the industry. Lay offs were common despite making it sound like the company had years of runway to live through bear market conditions

Ventajas

If you like gambling, I guess this could be interesting. For the most part the everyday people are great.

Desventajas

Utterly confused company as it runs with lots of leaders, but accountability isn't really accepted at the top, nor is the strategy sound. Performs a number of layoffs, then weeks later has a parade of offsites flying people in from around the world to stay lavish, including highly expensive events. Lots of 'yes' methods with leaders despite very questionable product strategy. Probably the worst company i've worked at. Very private school bro culture.

It seems there might be some confusion, as we are not a gambling company. We bring digital ownership to every player by making it safe and easy to build great web3 games. With regards to the layoffs, we know the restructuring earlier this year impacted the roles and lives of some of our employees, and we understand that this can lead to people feeling frustrated and saddened by these changes. Throughout this year, we have continued to invest heavily in the employee experience and in-person connection of our incredible Immutables globally, which is why we continue to hold company events and offsites. This has contributed to a huge engagement result of 81% in our recent global engagement survey, and we will continue to invest heavily in these areas. Our Engagement results also showed 87% confidence in Company leadership, which included the question of having a strategy and vision that was motivating. We are extremely confident in our Product strategy and our incredible team in Product, Engineering and Design. We also continue to invest in building a diverse and inclusive work environment. 28% of our Immutables are women or non-binary, which is above average for Web 3 and an engagement score of >80%, but we know we still have much more to accomplish here.
