-Limited advancement opportunities for the majority of engineers (unless you're a chemical engineer) -Terrible paternity leave policy -No flexible work hours/Work from home -Engineers are underpaid compared to the industry. -Very poor tuition assistance -Company runs lean so you will have a large work load; this is especially the case when someone retires or leaves the company. Management will not post the job and will load everyone else on the department up for MONTHS at a time! -Management clearly has their favorites; promotions are given to people that network the most with managers, and not the most qualified. You will quickly know if you're on the fast track for promotions.
