Ventajas
It was a good company that cared for people, offering a variety of activities and making efforts to ensure people felt satisfied. The company is currently in crisis, and the budget for all benefits (such as team buildings, team bondings, business travels, bonuses for devs, salary raises, etc.) for developers has been halted. However, this does not apply to the management. If and when the company overcomes this crisis, it is expected to return to its previous state.
Desventajas
The company's headline was 'PEOPLE FIRST!' and it remained that way until the crisis hit. In the meantime, as the crisis unfolded, the company gradually shifted into the hands of shareholders/investors. Since shareholders/investors became the primary players in the company, 'PEOPLE FIRST!' is transforming into 'MONEY AND PROFIT FIRST, PEOPLE LAST.' While this is somewhat acceptable, it contradicts the previous system and company policy. Approximately 600 people were laid off (some may have left on their own due to disappointment), and all benefits for the workers were suspended. The management still believes everything is great and extraordinary because they are surrounded by a small group of people in the top management, all under the illusion that everything is fine, congratulating each other on lies they tell one another. Working in the company under such circumstances is very challenging. The moment the company fully transitions into a SHAREHOLDER-DRIVEN COMPANY and completely discards the previous system, I believe things will start improving. However, it may start from scratch.
