Work life balance, though there are times that require over 8 hours a day due to deadlines, etc., there is flexibility to accommodate personal events without issue. Since Covid, US offices were closed. My position on working remote is although it is convenient, the personal interaction "around the water cooler" isn't as frequent -- although my department does a 30-minute semi-monthly video "meeting," so that is a positive.
