If you are a “yes-man” looking to be micro-managed with daily soul-crushing emails, this firm is for you. FMG is run by one person, Ben Mathis, who wields ultimate power and control over every aspect of the firm. If you challenge or disagree with him, he will make the practice of law so miserable, you will want nothing more than to quit. The culture of the firm is “bullying = leadership.” Morale for attorneys and staff is very low, turnover is high, and there is no succession plan for the future of the firm.
