Since then, several key leadership changes have significantly improved both the tone and direction of the company. The startup mindset is still present, but without the constant stress that can sometimes come with it. Leadership is open to new ideas, and it is not uncommon to see thoughtful suggestions make their way onto the roadmap quickly. Overall, it is a company that is clearly trending in the right direction.

We are getting better with our product and planning processes, but there is still room for improvement. Some of the legacy code can be difficult to navigate and understand at times, but there is usually documentation that can provide context and insight into the original intent. There have been discussions about rewriting certain parts of the stack, but those efforts have not yet materialized.

Forma is a great place to work with strong flexibility and a healthy work-life balance. There are real opportunities to drive meaningful change, and the team is highly execution focused, which makes it easy to turn ideas into impact. We also have amazing customers and a clear advantage in the market, which makes the work feel both exciting and worthwhile.

Like many growing companies, there’s some tech debt to work through, but that also creates opportunities to improve and build for the future.
