Ventajas
Great staff. Can't stress this enough. There are some really great people here in the rank and file. Very talented individuals to say the least. Prior to the pandemic (no fault of the company of course) - lots of great side benefits, happy hours now and then, baseball game, beer in the kitchen area on Friday afternoons, Pepsi center events/games/concerts. Nice office and location. Great and very fair handling during the pandemic. Seems like a good work/life balance depending on what department you are in (personally for where I am, this is a huge negative - but I list this as a positive as what I've heard from other departments, this is a positive)
Desventajas
Ooph. Go grab your beverage of choice. I'm not saying to steer clear of this place - there are some positives especially depending on whatever department you land in. Just do your research. Many similar companies in the area offer better benefits/etc. First - this is a stacked football team full of stars and pro-bowlers with crappy coaches that can't put the pieces together. If you get to work directly with the "stars" you'll prob be fine. But in reality, the company lacks much true innovation, coupled with a lack of desire to update the main product and become more proactive. The company is largely reactive - wait for something to fail or perform poorly, or wait for clients to complain to justify a "reaction". Couple this with a general lack of effective communication across different teams and departments. Basically, the MO here is to "kick the can down the road", or "apply another band-aid", vs fixing root problems. "Find a way" typically translates to find the cheapest/quickest way to make a problem go away - which usually becomes someone else's problem in the near future and ultimately ends up costing more money for the company down the road. To be fair, these "cons" are probably true of most any company in some fashion or another - at varying degrees. But the absolute worst issue here is a serious case of nepotism. If you don't have a seat at that little table at the top of the restaurant, don't expect anything to change. People that have been at this company a very long time overrule people with a technical proficiency within a skill set when there is an important decision to be made. This is extremely disturbing and at some point that "road" is going to end. Meaning, there will be a pile of cans and band-aids.
