Ventajas
The team I was on was amazing. The job kept me entertained and I was a part of a few really cool custom solutions. I was able to exercise my love for problem solving multiple times daily and saw first-hand some amazing custom high-end, interiors for some big companies.
Desventajas
A tad “culty”. Loyalty is pounded into all employees and to the detriment of some of the longer term employees who have been pigeon-holed. DIRTT is a specific product in a niche market and they use an in-house piece of software. As someone who came from an architectural background, DIRTT is an amazing product but not a lot of my education transferred over. My bonus for an entire years work was $200. I also got a $1250 raise from $50,000 to $51,250. Not great but the company is going through some tough times so I try to understand. At the start of 2022 around 100 employees were laid off, the CEO was fired, and a factory was closed. This was the result of blatant pour leadership during a pandemic and it wasn’t kept a secret.
