The people are collaborative, supportive, and genuinely invested in doing the right thing for the business and customers. Leadership is thoughtful and focused on building a scalable, long term organization. The company is continuing to evolve post spin off which creates opportunities to contribute to meaningful transformation and improvements.

Desventajas

As with many large insurance organizations, processes can be quite structured and layered. Decisions and approvals sometimes take longer than expected due to governance, risk management, and multiple review steps. This can slow down execution and make it challenging to move as quickly as teams might like.

Ventajas

The people are what make Corebridge such a special place to work. Warm and welcoming, it makes coming into the office a joy. I also have great respect for many of our top leaders, who truly care about employees in addition to having a winning spirit and driving results.

Desventajas

Most areas are understaffed, so teams have to manage more work and higher expectations than other companies where I’ve worked.

Strong brand recognition and talented individual contributors.

Desventajas

In my experience, the culture is heavily focused on optics and managing upward rather than supporting employees or fostering healthy leadership development. Employee engagement often feel secondary to customer-facing priorities. There is significant inconsistency in management quality across teams, and communication can become highly political. Collaboration and innovation are difficult in an environment where employees may feel discouraged from speaking candidly or challenging ineffective processes.
