Ventajas

KPIs are many and reviewed closely. Outside of that there is good autonomy. e.g. working times. This is not a place if you are uncomfortable with change which can sometimes be jading, other times it good to see my business acumen grow. Good respect for out of office hours. When you are OOO, you are OOO.

Desventajas

Too much change. Catch-up after holidays can put you on the back foot for weeks. (in my role)

The front line teams are hard working, but severely overworked.

Desventajas

Job security is a concern: The company initially stated there would be no more layoffs after the first round in March of 2024, but just three months later, another round of layoffs occurred in July. Toxic executive leadership: The executive team, driven by personal connections, fosters a toxic work environment. There’s a lack of direction and support from the top, with a focus on self-interest. No US culture: The company has no meaningful culture, especially for those outside of Ireland. If you're not based there, you're essentially invisible and excluded from any sense of community or belonging. Significant downsizing: The U.S. team has been reduced significantly over the last year, contributing to a sense of instability. Focus on cost-saving over innovation: The parent company prioritizes cost reductions rather than investing in growth or innovation. Declining business: Overall business performance has been shrinking, leading to concerns about the company’s future.
