Ventajas

I personally benefited from working with some highly experienced people and learning a complex product. Great colleagues and good multicultural environment. Sociable working hours and hard work is recognised. Good balance between friendly and professional working environment. Measures are being put in place at recognising that two-way feedback is critical for employee engagement. Nice and clean location with Sainsbury’s and Starbucks next door. Good parking space. If you’re a self starter and do not expect to be guided at every single step, if you like structuring your own workload instead of waiting for someone else to sort that out, then CNL is for you as you’ll get all the support, in particular if you step up when the going gets tough.

Desventajas

Although there are some very experienced staff still around, high staff turnover is making it challenging to retain experience.

Thank you for the honest feedback. We will take your advice very seriously and have already taken measures to retain and develop the teams. It will take a few months to see the benefits but really appreciate the advice.

Ventajas

Pay rate is above average, and if you're local the commute is ok. The business is in a very limited market, so its job security is assured if you can 'Hack it' to quote our CEO.

Desventajas

Stress is off the charts as unreasonable demands flow through this business. I don't entirely know how we stay in business, as the stack of unfinished work increases, and resources are stretched thinner and thinner. The offices are awful, and benefits are non existent. No one at the company knows how the whole product works entirely, and in engineering our key knowledge holders have all moved on, so we're often stuck trying to find a needle in a haystack when a problem arises.
