Ventajas
I was looking for something fast, flexible and interesting and that's definitely what I'm getting. 1. The amount I'm learning on a daily basis is insane. New technologies (BE, FE, QA, Mobile, DevOps etc.), new domains (B2C, B2B2C), new everything. The good thing is that there is budget, processes and a framework to work with so nothing is too abstract. 2. I like the "function over form" mindset. It doesn't need to be perfect, it needs to work and we can iterate and improve as we go. Don't be afraid to take steps and risks. 3. I feel that I have work life balance and flexibility. We don't really work with core hours, just make sure you're following the 80/20 rule which is 80% of the time you're working when your team is. At the end of the day it's about hitting the goal. 4. The people. A big part of the hiring process is culture, and I think it works. I really like the knock about attitude everyone has. We're all here to build something really cool, and have fun at the same time!
Desventajas
There are some things that I would like to be improved: 1. Sometimes we say we're fast for the sake of "being fast" which might be a legacy issue from older startup days 2. In Amsterdam it's a bit quiet, I would love to have more events in our office or have a benefit of 1-2 times per year travel to a bigger hub for their events
