Ventajas
Everyone working there was kind, respectful, and passionate about wine and teaching people about it. There was a lot of opportunity to learn about different roles, even if you knew nothing about wine. They trained you at your own pace, and gave you the option to focus your interest where you wanted it. They were very flexible with scheduling, and allowed you to book off time in advance, or to take on extra shifts if needed. They didn't micro-manage and trust their staff to do a good job, which empowered me to work hard and problem-solve on my own.
Desventajas
Some days we were understaffed and I would often work one to two hours over my shift ending time, but they've changed their system this year to give people extra days off to make up for over-time. It was definitely hard work though, and although wages are competitive, you only get a dollar raise for management positions, which didn't seem worth it to me for all of the extra work you would have to do.
