Ventajas
There are plenty of great opportunities for beginners to learn, as this company is a startup. Employees get a strong platform to grow and learn faster. Here, we mostly work as full-stack software engineers, but at times we also contribute to the ML and DevOps sides. This exposure helps us understand the overall workflow and explore new technologies within a dynamic startup culture. The work environment is also very positive—most employees are friendly, supportive, and helping-minded. I have never felt any kind of office politics here.
Desventajas
One major drawback of this company is that employees working offshore are often forced to work overnight, as most deployments and clients are US-based. Managers tend to put employees under pressure without offering any additional benefits or compensations. Many employees are workaholic, and this culture is being exploited. While not all tasks require such late hours, whenever deployments occur, employees are expected to work from dawn to dusk without any extra perks or allowances. Senior employees seem to be paid fairly, but junior employees receive low pay with no allowances or additional benefits.
