Ventajas
I’ve come farther in my career in the past 2 years than I have in the last 20 combined! They take risks on people and invest in their employees. It’s not as cut and dry as “who has the most experience on paper” or “who has the longer list of skills”. The managers here know that people aren’t defined by lists of accomplishments and accolades. If you’re a “by the book” kind of person that might rub you the wrong way. But if you’re like me and you want to be seen and appreciated for EVERYTHING you bring to the table (including your flaws, weaknesses, and failures and what you’ve learned from them) this is a great company to grow and develop in your career. ATD does things differently. It may not be everyone, but it’s certainly been the perfect fit for me. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this company and everyone who works here. If you’re on here trying to decide whether or not to apply, I’d say if anything I’ve written resonated with you or made you feel hopeful then you absolutely should!
Desventajas
I can’t believe they have a minimum word count requirement on this section. Is it so hard to imagine that someone could just love everything about their job and the company they work for? There isn’t a single thing about ATD that I would change.
