Ventajas
Very relaxed environment to work in due to everyone being extremely friendly and welcoming. The people at Arkade are always keeping up to date with the latest trends trends in tech and always trying to improve their best practices. When they notice a problem they don't sweep it under the carpet, they will always take note of the issue and try and fix it. Also the developers working there are a great bunch and I learned a lot during my short 6 month spell there.
Desventajas
Teething issues switching from waterfall methodology to agile, this lead to lack of communication between myself, the project manager and the frontend developer. Arkade acknoledge that the transition from waterfall to agile was an issue and ran a weekend course on Agile to resolve this issue.
