      Ventajas

      Decent hourly pay, the people you work with are friendly (though this doesn't necessarily apply to the management), the people you are serving are generally nice

      Desventajas

      At the end of an event we were told that we'd have to pack up everything (which we weren't notified of beforehand) and expected to do a lot of heavy lifting - when people (particularly girls) couldn't manage the heavier things, the management embarrassed them. They have also tried to avoid paying overtime

      Ventajas

      Can meet a lot of great people, and lots of opportunity to travel and visit beautiful venues. Can get a lot of work and go far if you have common sense and basic interpersonal skills (which a surprising amount of people don't...)

      Desventajas

      Little respect for you as an individual worker on shifts, have dealt with some awful managers forcing you to stay on your feet without breaks or food for full days (sometimes 18 hours)...while they sit around and eat. Have to deal with clients who can often be difficult.

      not much training provided for non front of house roles
