Ventajas
There are some really smart, good people that I enjoyed working with at ACT. Work/life balance is a strong incentive. Beautiful workplace and grounds.
Desventajas
HR is not supportive of employees, and mine is only one of many stories about heavy-handed management that won't tolerate those with new or different ideas. The conservative nature of ACT will be its undoing. They haven't been cutting edge for a long time, and because they only promote the "yes" people, they won't have the benefit of the fresh ideas that were once the mainstay of the business growth. Too many people in management are making decisions about things for which they have no expertise, and not relying on the true experts to inform and guide their effort. The result is that projects are not efficient and well done as they could be.
