Ventajas
Good-hearted people still exist there but the company has little heart and no brains.

I have already formed an opinion about VetSource and that opinion stands because of many things witnessed and was subjected to. I will state facts about my time here and you may form your own opinions. I wish I could give them negative stars. Facts: > 5 years without a raise or cost of living adjustment, with more and more job responsibilities added on....more work same pay. >Unfair pay. A lower grade employee was making more than I was. This was common practice throughout the company. > Added responsibilities when others leave or quit...again more work same pay. Saw this pattern over and over again. > "Work Hard. Have Fun." Slogan adopted but only focused on the first part. > Getting them to change an 8 year old PTO policy was like pulling teeth from a dinosaur and did not get changed. After 10 years I was hoping to get 4 weeks of PTO, instead of having to wait until after year 11, meanwhile some new hires were given 4 weeks from the start. 4 weeks PTO was also offered as incentive to get some to stay after they gave their 2 weeks notice. >"Embrace change" is a common phrase they throw around and clearly do not practice what they preach. >Communication is horrible. 5 new hires with ZERO notice to IT staff and the rest of the company. Employees would ring the door bell and the front desk people had no idea they were even starting. IT would have to drop everything to get them setup. (Total disrespect in my book) >Higher level managers getting titles handed to them, who have zero experience and didn't care to know about it. > resulted in many poorly planned projects, one in which an employee had to move and build/rebuild one cubicle 4 times. This is just one of many examples. >Higher level manager rehiring an employee that the direct manager fired. (Total disrespect in my book) >Fired an employee right after Thanksgiving holiday, then hired her replacement the next day. ZERO notice of the new hire to her dept. and IT staff. (Total disrespect in my book) >Poor planning time and again. launching programs with inadequate staffing created a nightmare for many. >Poor planning time and again. 2 hires same week > 2 different orders, resulting in overnight shipping charges. >Hired an employee in the same week that they cancelled her whole program/department. >A member of the Leadership Team telling an employee, "I think you are making a bad career move". This employee was moving to a higher level position and to another department. >401k match still only at 1%. The previous president is the only reason the match is there in the first place. He knew he couldn't give much at the time but at least this was something. >Extremely high turn over rate with call center and hospital support teams.
