The only reason I’m giving this place one star is because of my coworkers, they were the only good thing of that office and because of 9-5.

Desventajas

Management treats employees like children. If you get along well with someone, they move you to another seat just to keep you from talking. Most of the supervisors act like they’re working, but honestly have no idea what they’re doing; they’re basically puppets for the company. When they become obsessed with someone, they won’t leave that person alone until they move on to another target, and in the meantime, they make your life miserable. You’re not allowed to do anything except work, not take a break when you need one and not even go to the bathroom freely. And during the long periods with no work (which is most of the year except summer because they're going bankrupt), they still don’t let you sit idle or check your phone. The company has no structure at all. Decisions feel completely random and make no sense. Unless you’re the type who sucks up to management and throws coworkers under the bus, you’ll never get promoted, because to them you’re just a pawn. They pay the bare minimum, and if they can do something to pay you even less, they will.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience felt frustrating and that you didn’t feel supported, although we do appreciate you recognising the strength of your colleagues and teamwork. As a contact centre, our teams need to be consistently available to support our guests throughout opening hours. This requires clear structure and expectations, which can sometimes feel restrictive if not managed well. We recognise the importance of balancing this with trust, respect, and open communication, and we’ve been actively strengthening our manager capability to ensure teams are supported fairly and consistently. We also want to address the comment regarding the company’s financial position. Awaze is in a strong position, having had one of our busiest summers in 2025 and with excellent forward bookings for 2026. While our industry is seasonal, the business remains stable and focused on long-term growth. We take all feedback seriously and use it to inform ongoing improvements to our workplace culture and leadership approach. We wish you the best in your future career.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for being part of the Awaze team. We really appreciate your comments about our inclusive environment. We understand that contact centre roles can be particularly busy during the summer months, and we’ve been working hard on our resourcing and scheduling plans to make working patterns and days off as balanced as possible. We regularly review our working arrangements and reward approach to ensure they remain fair and in line with the collective agreement. Feedback like yours is valuable in helping us continue to improve how we support our teams, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective.

working hours are stable 9-5 coworkers are great

Desventajas

they manage your time too much, you can't be 2 min late and can't take a break when you need it, you also can't have lunch when you want to management doesn't make any sense, random rules changing all the time no extra pay but you will get pizza for extra hours 🤪 it is impossible to grow in the business, good work is not rewarded. after 5 years you will still be paid minimum wage customers can disrespect you and scream at you and you have to put up with it, team leaders will not allow that you will hang up a call when you're being disrespected it doesn't matter if your KPIs are great, if you get close to a coworker they will make you change seats and they will change your lunch time so you are not together

Thank you for sharing your thoughts so candidly. We're pleased to hear that you appreciated the stable working hours and the support of your coworkers, we know how important a strong team environment is and are glad that stood out to you. However, we’re sorry to read that your overall experience with Awaze didn’t meet your expectations and we would like to address your concerns. We understand your concerns around flexibility during working hours. While we aim to maintain service standards for both guests and owners, we also recognise the importance of employee wellbeing. Recent changes to break times, based on employee survey responses, reflect our efforts to improve in this area and we’ll continue listening and adapting where we can. In terms of overtime, we follow legal and company guidelines to ensure proper compensation. Occasional gestures such as pizza days are simply intended as tokens of appreciation and not substitutes for fair pay. We are committed to supporting growth and development across the team, and we’re proud that many of our current team leaders and managers have progressed internally. We’re sorry if you didn’t feel your development was prioritised or your contributions recognised—that’s something we take seriously and want to do better. We also acknowledge the challenges of frontline roles, especially when dealing with difficult customer interactions. Everyone deserves to feel supported in those moments, and we’ll continue reviewing how we help our teams manage such situations appropriately. Your comments about colleague interactions are important, and we’d appreciate the chance to understand more. Please feel free to reach out to HR Business Partner, Benny Sørensen at benny.sorensen@awaze.com to arrange a time to talk further. Once again, thank you for your honesty. Feedback like yours is essential in helping us grow and improve as an organisation.
