Entrevista
The beginning was very good, but then it went downhill.
First red flag: trying to add more steps to the process than originally confirmed.
Second red flag: They also lied about the salary and tried to hire me below value, even though we had confirmed the range and expectations during the first interview screening.
Third red flag: They kept postponing the start date.
Fourth red flag: Had to wait weeks for a verbal offer after they confirmed they would make me an offer. followed up several times during that time, but the conversation was all smoke and mirrors around salary challenges, which all of a sudden they didn't budget for, etc. All this after wasting my time having gone through their interview process
Finally, received an offer that simply matched my current salary but with an unclear commission structure.
Fifth red flag: When asked for this to be put in an official offer letter in writing and cc'ed the President, with whom I had spoken just before about the offer and who specifically told me to include him at every step going forward. They confirmed they will send me the written offer the next day, which put me at ease to decline another offer I had received at that point.
That written offer was never received and when I followed up they informed me that they would withdraw the offer as they felt it was bad "conduct" to have included the President in my request for a written offer????
During this time, the "talent person", sent me very unprofessional messages via Linkedin asking me about my motives and intentions behind including the Vice President in the email, and whether I wanted to seek his attention and undermine him.
It's oozing with drama and toxicity!
