laid back phone interview asking standard questions. A lot of it was just them explaining what the company did and why they think experience is important and a 25 grand a year first year salary is normal. Online assessment followed by Teams interview. Much the same honestly.
My experience with EA Change was extremely disappointing and, frankly, disrespectful of candidates’ time.
The process was unnecessarily long and demanding from the start — online tests, a pre-interview call, detailed CV and application questions, followed by a full interview. I invested hours into preparing and completing each stage, engaging seriously with what they claimed was a thoughtful and people-focused hiring process.
After all that effort, I received nothing more than a generic rejection email.
No personalised feedback. No explanation. No acknowledgment of the time and work I had put in. When I followed up to ask for feedback, I was simply ignored.
This is especially frustrating given how much they emphasise their values — talking at length about “people before profits” and the importance of building meaningful connections with candidates. That messaging feels completely hollow when the actual candidate experience is impersonal, dismissive, and lacking even basic courtesy.
After investing so much time, the bare minimum would have been a short, personalised response explaining their decision. Instead, the process ended with a template email and silence.
Overall, a very poor and inconsistent experience that does not reflect the values they claim to stand for.

Interviewer was running late. Interview felt rushed and like she was doing a chore, questions back to back with no engagement or commentary. She really could not care less by the sounds of it, with this being said it threw me off the whole process. Had no sense of compassion nor personality and I’m confused why you would let someone like that take on board the job to take on interviews.

Very generic questions - Tell me about a time you had to work under pressure. Tell me about a time you had to work in a group and so on…. Honestly the most dullest questions I’ve had in an interview in years..
