Had an interview with the recruiter first which was a 30 min google meet (cameras off). I didn't hear from them until over a week later when they called me from an unknown number. They didn't leave a message and when they called again 5 mins later, I picked up (because I thought it was actually someone trying to reach me and not a phone bot). They scheduled me in for a panel interview a few days later. The panel interview was really challenging because both members turned off their cameras so I was just staring at myself as I was speaking. The following week I received an automatic rejection email, and when I asked the recruiter for feedback, I never heard back. Based on what was told to me about the role, it seems like an overwhelming amount of responsibility for 1 person and on top of that the pay is awful.
