Among the worst recrutement process I ever had.
You start by having a couple of assessments (4-5 first steps out of 8), then you have a quite normal interview with the hiring manager and then the last step is a full day of work immersed in the company (or remotely if you're unlucky).
First, the Job changed juste before the last step. Then, having an "immersion day" remotely is maybe the worst idea ever, I had a case to do and present at the end of the day, and of course half of the resources were not working from remote.
Also, during the welcome call of my immersion day, they insisted on the case. They also told me briefly that I had to organize one "cultural call" during the day among a list... 2 people. One wasn't available for the whole day and the second one wasn't available when I reached to him around 3pm.
He told me that it was not a problem to miss this and I reached to someone else in the company (via Linkedin) to have a meeting to replace.
After a week, I received an automatic rejection mail. Which is insane after all these steps and spent an entire day working for you.
When I asked for a call and a bit of feedback, I've been told 2 things :
- First that I didn't really get what was the job about (remember that it was changed 1 or 2 days before the last step and that i didn't really got too much info)
-Then that I was automatically rejected since I didn't get to do the "cultural meeting", the same one that I couldn't do because nobody was available and that it was OK not to do.
I have no problem getting rejected, even after a long process, but I clearly wasted my time with them and the process was too chaotic for me.
