      If you want to be ghosted, then this is the company for you. The hiring manager emphasized after our interview that I should check in if I haven’t heard back about next steps in the next week or two. I sent a thank you note and he even responded with those details about timing. How nice! And then…nothing. I followed up to no response. A month after that the recruiter asked if I was still interested and I was but it was a month later so I was in the final interview round with another company. I asked what the timeline would be for the next round with Zebra and the recruiter said she would check and get back to me. It’s been several weeks and…you guessed it - nothing. I have accepted another role and really feel like I dodged a bullet here. Maybe this doesn’t reflect how they treat employees, but I wish they could have had the basic courtesy to at least send a form letter that I was decline rather than just ghosting me.

      I went through Talent Acquisition interview, hiring manager interview and then it all ended after speaking with the second stakeholder. The second stakeholder is a power play and put my application in a situation to overtake the prescribed recruitment process. Perhaps my candidacy got caught in the politics and became collateral damage.
