The interview process was robust and interesting. Interviewers asked detailed questions about my previous experiences, looking for examples of how I’d handled various situations across my career. They were keen to understand my technical contributions and dug into detail across a range of projects I’d worked on. One of my later stage values interviews was incredible, it felt closer to a therapy session than a job interview. The interviewer was genuinely trying to understand how I think, why I’d done X, what I’d do differently about Y in the future etc. The Sr. Technical Recruiter who led me through the process was brilliant, investing time to provide feedback and support at each stage. At each each point in the process, I knew exactly what the next steps would be and a precise timeline as to when they would happen. This is great, and pretty rare!
