Zalando used to be a professional employer, and they turned so so unprofessional. First, I was asked if I would consider relocating to Poland and I said yes, then I got ghosted. Then, I get an email from Zalando to schedule an interview for another role: the interviewer didn’t show up on the interview and even ghosted me when I asked for updates via email. Then I receive a rejection notice several weeks later. This is totally unacceptable for a company of this reputation that used to give a good candidate experience. If this is the result of your cost cutting initiatives, beware of the consequences thag treating people like this have on your reputation!

(We both agreed it could take up to 3 months given that I would need to process relocation) Then he told me about the next steps & what to expect. (3 more interview after this) I thought it went pretty well and was looking forward to meeting the hiring manager in the next stage till I got an email a few days later saying I couldn’t proceed. Sucks.
