Very lengthy and unstructured take-home exercise. Feedback provided for take-home was rather vague and took over a week to be provided. However, everyone was very friendly throughout the whole process.
The interview process is rigorous yet thorough and thoughtful. The full process includes an initial call followed by an assignment, then an interview call with a team member, another larger more robust assignment, and then the final round includes multiple interviews with a handful of team members.
I was impressed by the level of communication (quick replies, the team moves quickly). And everyone I interacted with was super knowledgeable, helpful, and kind.

Be prepared to answer hypothetical questions around how you would handle certain situations (data analysis, client facing etc).
Solicité el puesto a través de un captador. El proceso duró 5 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en YipitData en mar 2022
Entrevista
The interview process was very thorough, from start to finish (offer) it took approximately 4.5 weeks. There are 2 take home exercises, the second which gives you a good understanding of the type of work you’ll do in the role, which is nice for understanding if you enjoy the work. The interviewers were all very transparent and easy going - I really enjoyed the overall process and appreciated the transparency and swift movement among every phase of the interviewing.

Envié una solicitud electrónica. El proceso duró 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en YipitData (New York, NY) en ene 2022

The interview was relatively exhaustive, but nothing was asked that was ridiculous.
Steps of the process:
1) Quick excel project to analyze a dataset and identify anything interesting regarding the data
2) Zoom call with a Data Consultant at Yipit. Completely behavioral, basically to give more information on the role
3) A longer take-home assignment (1 week) that asks you to observe a massive dataset and project financial statistics. The dataset has some difficulties so cleaning/analysis needs to be done.
4) Two more zoom calls with other Data Consultants
5) Zoom interview with a leader (this case was a VP)
6) Reference checks, where you give 3 professional colleagues to answer questions regarding what it was like to work with you
