After the initial phone screen, I didn’t hear anything again for weeks (and I agree with the other poster that the assessment was mostly pointless for this role). Then out of the blue, the recruiter called me to setup an interview with the hiring manager. That virtual meeting was fine, so I went into their main facility and met with two other team members. After that, crickets. I have no issue with not being contacted after a phone screen, and if I wasn’t selected for the job, that’s perfectly fine. But I don’t want to work for a company that disrespects people who go through a more extensive interview process and never hear anything back one way or the other.
