Solicité el puesto a través de un captador. El proceso duró 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en YSQ International (Singapur) en abr 2024
Entrevista
The internal recruiter was contacted first.
Then the initial technical interview with a manager.
Upto that went well.
Just after the technical interview got a take-home test.
The interviewer persuaded me to complete the take-home test during the weekend and hand it over the following Monday.
The task was to create a REST API-driven back-end with PHP Laravel, and a front-end React application that consumes the API.
A reference UI design was given.
Completed the whole application as per the instructions without any issues.
The feedback wasn't provided until I chased the recruiter for several days.
The outcomes were negative and the reason wasn't provided initially.
Just after chasing again the reason provided as the company is looking into a Front-end focused person at the moment although my back-end knowledge is super!!
How funny?
The position is for a software developer, not a UI developer!!
Please don't waste the time of the people!!

Entrevista
The interview was conducted remotely through an online platform. It involved a live coding session with the hiring manager, where I was asked to solve programming problems in real-time while explaining my thought process and approach. The session allowed the interviewer to assess both my technical skills and problem-solving ability, as well as how I communicate and collaborate during challenges.

Entrevista
I applied for a Software Developer position[25 April, 2024] , and the initial stages of the process went well. I had a conversation with an internal recruiter, followed by a technical interview with a manager. Both went smoothly, and I was given a take-home assignment afterward. The assignment involved building a RESTful API back-end with PHP Laravel, along with a ReactJS front-end to interact with the API. A sample UI design was given as a reference, and I followed the provided instructions, completing and submitting the project on time. Despite completing the assignment and following all guidelines, I never received any feedback or response from the company regarding the outcome. It was frustrating to be left with no response after putting in the effort. Respect candidates’ time and provide feedback, even if it’s just a simple rejection.
