After an initial interview with Mr Jalil Sheikh (Founder) who resides in the US, I was called back for a second interview with a panel consisting of the company’s CEO, Mr Raheel Khan.
Both interviews were conducted through Google Meets. However, after an initial technical failure in the second round, I was asked to come in person to the company’s Lahore offices to have another virtual meeting with the CEO.
After only one technical question (code related), I was rebuffed rather abruptly and curtly which I found rather strange. It came across petty, immature and unprofessional. One should remember, that you are interviewing a human candidate with 12 years of professional experience in the Semiconductor industry and not an AI generated bot. Every candidate invests time and energy to show up to each interview. It is a conversation between humans and not a drill station.
Please kindly do better next time, and teach your upper management the basic etiquettes for the interview process. Asking questions rote from a book while lacking self-awareness, is quite common practice with many such companies unfortunately.
