The process lasted about 45 minutes. I was interviewed by the Instrumentation team lead and the Instrumentation Head of Dept. Both were friendly and made me feel welcome. I was asked some basic things from the CV initially, and then we dug into details based on knowledge of instrumentation standards as well as details on instrumentation software skill levels. Was initially informed by HR that I was put on hold. However, after a month HR called back saying I was selected. Since I had already agreed to a specific pay before the interview, and since I badly needed the job, there was hardly any room for negotiation.
