Really good, comprehensive and long phone interview with the recruiter, who then passed me to the hiring manager. Very good connection with him, including a detailed conversation about the specifics of the role, challenges and how I would fit in. After the interview with the hiring manager, I was given very clear next steps and actions on his part. I followed up with a thank-you note which recapped the next steps I was told. After several days of not hearing from anyone I reached out to the recruiter who said the feedback she got was for a completely different position and she would get clarification from the hiring manager and get right back with me. I heard nothing. I emailed once more, then left a voicemail and got no response from either person. Easily the most unprofessional and odd interview process I've been through and I now view it as a complete waste of my time.

I met with HR for a screening interview then with the hinging manager. I then had a panel interview with members of the team that the role would interact with regularly. The final interview was with the hiring managers manager.
