Interveiw based on my past experience and interests Very friendly interview, but had to answer some rebutting questions. Also had to take a written test before the interview. The test was quite challenging and the problems were based on what was expected of the applicants when they are actually working on the desk.

Short 30 minute interview, mixture of usual experience/ competency based questions with the addition of current affairs questions (e.g. mine was to do with UK aid funding cuts). Followed immediately by an hour written work-based scenario test.
