Thank you for your comment. As we have explained to you in reply to your post call email, we did not want to promote any false expectation for you. We use a system called Workable and we clearly stated the position was in NYC and it was not remote as we are an essential organization. During our call we did identify that you were not currently living in NYC and you had stated that you may move to NYC in August or September. We expressed that the position was an immediate hire and that we wanted to be honest with you. We also asked to keep in touch as we may have other positions opening us as we expand. I am not sure what else could have been done other than to go through the interview and set false expectations, which is not our style. We prefer to be honest and upfront, even if it is not always well received. We have had other interviews with experienced candidates who have actually brought the topic up first thing and have welcome the honesty, that lead to some wonderful dialog and referrals to other partners who may be able to engage them remotely.
